Experienced Physical Therapists at Community Medical Center work collaboratively with their patients and clients of all ages and abilities to help restore motion, strength and achieve goals.

We have Physical Therapists trained to evaluate and treat many different conditions including:

Musculoskeletal disorders (muscles, bones, ligaments, tendons) Examples include: 

  • Ankle sprain, Muscle strain, Neck pain, Back pain, Knee pain, Hip pain, Shoulder pain, Foot pain, Spine pain, Arthritis
  • Strengthening following weakness and deconditioning resulting from prolonged inactivity, illness, hospitalization or surgery, Osteoporosis
  • Sports injury rehab
  • Work injury rehab
  • Spine stabilization, Core strengthening
  • Acute and Chronic Pain

Balance disorders

  • Vestibular rehab including evaluation for and treatment of BPPV

Walking difficulty

  • Pain walking
  • Fall prevention program
  • Assistive device fitting and training for all ages
  • Bracing and Splinting/ foot orthotics, Pediatric AFO’s
  • Aputee Rehab (pre-prosthetic strengthening and post-prosthetic Gait training)

Work rehab

  • FCE=Functional Capacity Evaluations
  • Work site assessments
  • Physical Demand Work Screens
  • Work Hardening/Conditioning
  • Ergonomic and Body Mechanics training, Computer Workstation assessments
     

Neurological disorders

  • Examples include: Stroke, Head Injury, Spinal Cord Injury, Multiple Sclerosis, Cerebral Palsy, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, Guillian-Barre Syndrome
  • Parkinson’s disease rehab including “LSVT BIG program”

Cancer Rehab

  • STAR Program certified therapists focus on maintaining function during and restoring function after cancer treatment

Lymphedema

  • Management of Lymphedema by a Certified Lymphedema Therapist

Amputee rehab

  • Pre-prosthetic strengthening and prosthetic gait training

Incontinence

  • Pelvic floor strengthening with biofeedback
