Claire Steinberg is a certified pediatric nurse practitioner with Community Children’s Pediatric Specialty Clinic. Claire had over twelve years of experience as a certified pediatric nurse at Community Children’s at Community Medical Center before completing her pediatric nurse practitioner program. In addition to direct patient care she has also worked as a pediatric staff development coordinator and has provided outreach education in rural communities. Claire works closely with the pediatric endocrinology and diabetes specialists from Seattle Children’s to evaluate, treat and manage children and teens with diabetes and disorders of hormone regulation. As board certified in in advanced diabetes management from the Association of Diabetes Care & Education Specialists (ACDES), she provides care and guidance to overweight or obese children and adolescents and their families with the Community Children's wellness and weight management team.
She is grateful to be raising her family in the Missoula area. Claire is a lover of sunshine, dogs, good food, music, and traveling. When not at work she enjoys hiking, stand up paddle boarding, winter skiing (in lots of warm layers!), playing the ukulele, and recreating with friends and family.
