Local organ procurement organization (OPO), LifeCenter Northwest is proud to announce the presentation of their Hospital Awards presented to Community Medical Center for superior performance in organ donation in 2018.

Nationally there are more than 114,000 patients waiting for an organ transplant. Because of Community Medical Center’s dedication to quality care and donation, more lives will be saved through organ transplantation.

Community Medical Center was honored for their work with the following achievement awards:

  • One of only 12 hospitals to receive the Organ Donation Referral Achievement Award, which recognizes hospitals for their consistency in making timely referral calls, a commitment that is incredibly challenging.
