A native of central Washington, Mariah married a Montana boy and is now thrilled to call the mountains and rivers of Western Montana home. As a certified nurse-midwife, her scope includes prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care as well as well woman gynecological visits and contraceptive management. Passionate about patient education and empowerment, Mariah loves partnering with women in meeting their health care needs. She sees midwifery as both a science and an art, and is committed to providing care that is personal, holistic, woman-centered and evidence-based.
Mariah enjoys playing and coaching soccer as well as jitterbugging with her husband, backpacking with her kids, swimming in rivers, and cooking without recipes. Mariah worked as a birth doula for years before becoming a nurse-midwife, and has a special interest in labor and breastfeeding support. Mariah and her husband have two young children. Her favorite place in the world is wherever they are.
