About

All routine screening & diagnostic mammograms are offered through our partnership with Advanced Imaging. They offer 15-minute walk-in routine screening mammograms at all three locations. And use the latest in 3D digital mammography equipment, providing state-of-the-art imaging of breast tissue and the chest wall, with lower radiation and shorter exam times. This means less compression time and discomfort for you.

Radiologists will interpret your images and prepare a diagnostic report for your healthcare provider within 48 hours. If your exam was ordered “stat” your provider will be notified of the interpretation the same day.

Should the radiologist see something in your screening mammogram that requires further evaluation and follow-up, you will be referred for further evaluation. Diagnostic services include:

• Diagnostic mammograms
• Breast ultrasound
• Ultrasound breast biopsy
• Stereotactic breast biopsy

A team of specialists will work closely with your primary care provider to ensure results, diagnosis and treatment recommendations are communicated promptly with you.

Appointments

Walk-ins are welcome at all three locations for routine screening mammograms and you do not need an order from your healthcare provider for a screening mammogram.

Appointments are required for diagnostic services. Please call Advanced Imaging if you need to schedule an appointment.

Exam Preparation

Routine screening mammograms take approximately 15-minutes. For other diagnostic services please arrive 15 minutes before your appointment to fill out paperwork and change into a gown.

Because you will remove your top, we recommend wearing a two-piece outfit.
