Breastfeeding Support

Community has been certified by the World Health Organization’s Baby Friendly Initiative that encourages breastfeeding and mother/baby bonding. Our knowledgeable staff, including full-time lactation specialists, works with new moms to help them become familiar and get comfortable with the proper techniques.

We encourage women to pursue the feeding option that’s best for them. Whether a new mom chooses to breast feed or bottle feed or a combination, our nurses and lactation consultants help her get comfortable with the “new experience” so that she and her baby make the most of this precious time together.
