Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapists help people across the lifespan do things they want and need to do by participating in meaningful activities, such as daily life skills, in order to optimize a person’s physical and mental health. We help our patients improve basic motor functions and cognitive abilities, as well as compensate for loss of function so that they can lead independent, productive and satisfying lives.
Community Children’s offers a variety of pediatric occupational therapy services, focused on helping children achieve independence in all areas of their lives. In addition to dealing with a child’s physical well-being, our occupational therapy practitioners address psychological, social and environmental factors that can affect function and performance in different ways. They treat children of all ages, from premature infants through teenage years
