Dr. Jeffery Haller, specialist in thyroid / parathyroid surgery, along with CMC oncologists & thyroid / parathyroid surgeons, will be providing a free thyroid cancer lecture and oral cancer screenings. The general public is encouraged to attend. 

Thyroid cancer doesn't show any symptoms early on. As it progresses someone may see or observe certain symptoms. Early detection is key to preventing thyroid cancer. 

Risk Factors:

• Family history
• Radiation exposure of the head and neck
• Breast cancer survivor
• Women (age 40+)
• Diet low in iodine
