Community Medical Center Hosts Health Fair on Jan. 11

Local and area residents are encouraged to take advantage of reduced-priced blood tests, health education and free screenings during Community Medical Center's annual Health Fair.
The event is set for 7 to 10 a.m. Saturday, January. 11, at Community Cancer Care & Prevention, 2837 Fort Missoula Rd., on the Community Medical Center campus.
The lab tests include:
General Health Screen: $20 (~$40 off)
Complete blood count, cholesterol, HDL, LDL, triglycerides, chemistry panel, TSH
Lipid and Glucose: $10 (~$20 off)
Cholesterol, HDL, LDL, Triglycerides, Glucose
Vitamin D: $20 (~$5 off)
Other Community Medical Center departments will be on site with the following screenings and information about spine care, joint pain, Aquablation for BPH, weight loss, cancer care and prevention, genetics / high risk breast program, balance & strength testing, blood pressure checks and more.
“Staff and physicians at Community always look forward to the Health Fair because it allows us to meet more of our neighbors,” Said Dr. Bonnie Stephens, chief medical officer at Community Medical Center. “It also provides opportunities for basic health screening and an opportunity learn about services available at Community one convenient location."
“We are aware that it is not always easy to get routine healthcare done during the work week,” she added. “Participating in the Health Fair offers a convenient way for folks to get a quick glimpse of their health status to share with their primary care provider.”
The general public is also invited to tour the new Heart Center after you visit the Health Fair! The new Heart Center is located off South Avenue in Building 5.
